Strategy Development has followed a set path since the last century where a predetermined, rectilinear, and inflexible approach defined the process. In the 21st century, however, business leaders are devising Strategy by evolving it into a probabilistic, repeated, and multifaceted process. An approach that can both endure and adapt to the growing pace of Change and Disruption that is manifesting itself in all industries. Using gaming, AI, unremitting execution, and adjustment, with numerous scenarios to deliberate on, leaders create "Flywheels" that successfully tackle the not so deterministic world where the future is highly uncertain. Flywheel is a concept originally used in the power industry to explain an origin of stabilization, energy storage, and momentum.

To assess the financial benefits of such a forward-thinking scheme, researchers at Aalto University's HEMA Institute (the Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Management and Architecture) in Helsinki, Finland, studied whether there is a link between the treatment costs of patients and the use of an AI-based healthcare system that directs patients to the correct care. The study examined the Klinik Pro service during its first five months of use at the Myyrmäki Health Center in Vantaa and the result was that the tool brought a 14% saving in the average service costs per patient, translating to a €31 cost reduction per patient during the period of study.

WeRobotics Global has become a premier forum for social good robotics. The feedback featured below was unsolicited. On June 1, 2017, we convened our first, annual global event, bringing together 34 organizations to New York City (full list below) to shape the global agenda and future use of robotics in the social good sector. WeRobotics Global was kindly hosted by the Rockefeller Foundation, the first donor to support our efforts. They opened the event with welcome remarks and turned it over to Patrick Meier from WeRobotics who provided an overview of WeRobotics and the big picture context for social sector robotics.
